Hi! I’m Victoria,
and I love training and onboarding people; that’s how I got into UX.
Within my department and across multiple teams, I was the go-to person for training and onboarding. Before I knew what UX Design was, I often asked questions about how I could make my work and training and onboarding simpler, easier to understand, user-friendly, and more fun.
It wasn’t until I managed a project collaborating with UX Designers, UX Researchers, and developers to build a customized media platform for my team. This was the first time I heard of “UX Design” and the end product was an all-in-one tool. It not only addressed all of my team’s pain points but automated my team’s workload by up to 80%! Additionally, it made training simple and easy to understand.
I’m a UX/Product Designer
I am a data-based decision-maker. I can’t deny that I am a nerd when it comes to research and organizing all the details needed for a solution.
I value user-centered design and using best practices in UX methods to understand users’ needs, goals, and frustrations to effectively make an impact. UX/Product Design is only one aspect of crafting an impactful and meaningful experience.
“I might not know how to do that yet…”
Outside of work, I’ve been described as “determined” and “dedicated”. I’m a firm believer of when there’s a will, there’s a way.
Over the years, I’ve taught myself how to bake, landscape painting, and most recently, customize my portfolio with code all of which I have never done before. Fun fact, I completed the Brooklyn Half Marathon without preparation or even running outdoors before … yup my body hated me for a few days after that.
